We had a day full of sunshine yesterday, so different than we’d been experiencing all winter. Spring is on the way, and I couldn’t be happier.

I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorites from this session. So many fun ones. I LOVE the orange wall. This wall used to be blue, so the change in color is fun.

When I first met Kassie for her wedding consultation, I immediately knew we would be a good fit. We clicked right away and talked for quite a while. Her fiance sounded fun and I couldn’t wait to work with them.

Kassie and Joe were so much fun! We had planned to get some fun outdoors shots and then hit up Bown Crossing for some beer and football shots (which were my favorite).

I love this time of year because it is engagement session season! A couple of my wedding packages come with engagement sessions so it’s a fun time to get to know my clients before their wedding approaches. It’s also a great time for my clients to get used to my shooting style before the big day. Katie and Jerame were my first couple of the season. These guys are so cute and fresh. I was excited to find out that they were also high school sweethearts! So fun.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites. We shot around 10am around Camelsback Park.

The last two week I’ve been working with [F]ramed Show for season 3! I can’t tell you anything about it except that it was an amazing experience and I can’t wait until you guys can see the episodes. They will air in May.

However, I’ve been taking lots of pictures and booking lots of weddings too. I’ve also been putting little video snippets together with clips that are done during photo sessions. Which brings me to my next session…

These two are absolutely adorable. Kacey and I have actually known eachother forever. We went to high school at different schools but as it goes in small towns (neighboring) everyone knows everyone. I even have faint memories of getting eggs out of the hen house when we were around 6 or something. Funny.

I had so much fun photographing these two. They are so laid back and were up for anything. We hung out with their puppy Yogi for some fun park shots and headed downtown for more of an urban look. The weather was sooooo cold this weekend, but it didn’t stop these great families from hanging out with me.
So these guys have already been married for over a month but I was going back and looking at some of the sessions I hadn’t really blogged and thought I’d catch up. We took these photos in the spring when the weather was not very good, we totally lucked out and had a perfect day. All other days of the week were stormy and cold, but this day was awesome! Here are some of my favorites.

I had to share this engagement session with you. We had amazing light and an amazing couple. They made my job so easy because they are totally and completely in love. Also, don’t you just love Marcy’s hair?? I actually had dreams about me having this hairdo after this session because I loved it so much. Also, so fun because they’re doing a “science” theme for their wedding. Can’t wait!

These guys were up for anything. They’re absolutely adorable together and are so much fun. Out of nowhere they decided to have a dance party. I’m guessing this isn’t an unusual occurrence :)

I just have to say that I am privileged to be able to photograph the cutest couples. I hardly had to direct these two because they were naturals. Also, did I mention that I LOVE spring in Boise? SO much green.
