Around this time of year, usually when I’m looking out the window at the rain, I decide I need to kick off spring with a giveaway. I am doing another photo contest but with a twist.

Since I discovered Instagram (a cell phone taking and editing software) I’ve been obsessed. Taking cell phone photos has never been this fun. Here are a few recent ones.

Win a Free Engagement Session! Boise Idaho Wedding Photographer
I’ve been wanting to do a giveaway for a little while but wanted to come up with something creative and something that will reward someone who just deserves it.

I’ve decided to give away an engagement session for a couple who deserves it. Whether they devote hours to their church or community, served our country, or a couple who has gone through a tough time this year and could really use a break.
.
There are a couple ways to do this. First, you can nominate a couple by sending in their story and photo – along with their contact information so I can ask permission for their story to be told. Or you can nominate yourself.

Ultimately I will let the fans decide who they think is the most deserving, as I could NEVER make the decision on my own.

Casting Call! High School Seniors & Engaged Couple – Boise Photographer
I’m working on a little project and I’m looking for a few models. I can’t give away too many details online about what we’re doing but basically I will be taking your photo and will give you 10 of your favorite shots on a CD to keep for your willingness to be our model. So it’s a great chance to snag some free photos! We will also collaborate on some ideas for shooting as well.

Who We Need: Male and Female high school senior as well as a recently engaged couple – all of the above to be extremely fun and spunky.
When We Will Need You: Sept 27th or 28th (5-dusk). We will be using people both days so the specific schedule has not been decided. Some flexibility is helpful.

Free Photos, What? Annual Photo Contest – Boise Photographer
Hello! It is that time of year already. Remember last year’s Cute Kid Contest? Well I’ve decided that it was so fun that I want to do it again!
Details
.
Dig through all your pictures and find your favorite picture of your child[ren] (or nieces, nephews, grandchildren.. they don’t have to be YOUR child but you should be related to them). Photo does not have to be taken by you, however, you must have permission to use it.

Email your photo to tamara@tk-foto.com. Only one photo per person.
.
On July 25th, I will upload all photos to my Facebook Page. It will be up to YOU to get votes for your picture. A comment on the picture counts as a vote. Rally up all your Facebook friends and get them to vote! There are two opportunities to vote, a comment on a photo and a like. You can vote for more than one photo. Any duplicate votes will not be counted. Multiple comments will be deleted.

Voting will start on July 25th and will run until August 1st. At midnight PROMPTLY the voting will end. Any votes passed midnight will not be counted. There will only be one winner. An exclusive photo session discount will be awarded to all participants.
Prize

Winner will receive a basic family, solo, newborn, maternity, or engagement photo session with Tamara Kenyon Photography valued up to $250.00.

Fine Print
Voting closes on August 1st, 2010.
Winner must schedule their photo session within 30 days.
Photo session can be “gifted” to someone as well.
Winning cannot be credited to a passed photo session, however, the value of $250.00 can be added to a client’s print credit if a current session is in progress.
Winning package cannot be combined with any other offer.
Contest is subject to change or be cancelled for any reason if needed.

Most of you saw the final product of our photo contest entry. What you didn’t see was all the hilarious photos before that one. I’m always a fan of showing blooper shots because I love to laugh. And we were laughing SO hard while doing these.
