On Wednesday I hung out with my sister and her family while capturing some fun family photos too.

On Friday I was privileged enough to hang with some rad photographers. One of the photographers snagged up a couple models and we had our way with them! I thought I grabbed more group shots but looks like I was too excited about this gorgeous couple!

Alert and Awake! Boise Idaho Newborn Photographer
Occasionally I’ll get a newborn that gives me a run for my money. Usually it is because they are over 2 weeks old and are aware of their surroundings. This little guy had me stumped, he was at a great weight and age for newborn photos but refused to fall asleep! I even tried all my best tricks.
This was the first shot of the day where he briefly fell asleep.

Then we discovered that he really liked being propped up, instead of every other pose that we tried.

Who: Families of up to 5 members (not recommended for families of 5 with small children as 30 minutes may not be enough time)

When: November 19th, 27th, December 3rd. (Several times available each day, contact me for those dates)

Mini-Session FAQs
What is the difference between a mini-session and a full session?
Regular photo sessions are 1-2 hours at multiple locations and outfit changes. You have a selection of 30+ photos and usually have a print credit.
A mini-session is a smaller version of that, but a substantial difference in price. There is only one outdoor location, one outfit, and a limited time period for shooting.

Why do a mini-session?
This is a great opportunity to experience custom photography at a lower price. Sometimes around the holidays families do not need a large photo session, but something to mark the occasion.

What if it rains or the weather is bad on the day of our mini session?
In case of poor weather, mini photo sessions will be rescheduled as early as possible. Keep in mind that there will be several others who will be in the same boat as you.

One of my favorite parts about this job is getting to see my little clients turn into big clients! It seems like it wasn’t very long ago that I was trying to get this little guy to go to sleep so we can get some great sleepy newborn shots of him. Now he’s one!
