I love incorporating family heirlooms and handmade items into my photo sessions. This blanket was made by a family member and the rocker has been in the family for a while. I’d say Baby L loves his rocker.

This mama is one of the best looking 7-month-pregnant woman I’ve ever seen. She looks absolutely stunning!

They aren’t finding out the sex of the baby, but big sister KNOWS she’s going to have a baby sister.

Remember this little punkin?

She’s already 6 months old!!

The thing I love about silhouettes is that you don’t have to say anything about them. They are a bold statement of the moment in a simple way.

Hello! It is that time of year already. Remember last year’s Cute Kid Contest? Well I’ve decided that it was so fun that I want to do it again!

I have been meaning to share this photo a while ago. So maybe a month back I saw a tweet come across Twitter with the KTRV news station looking for people participating in the Ironman Boise race. I, being the awesome wife that I am, volunteered my husband. He wasn’t thrilled that I volunteered him but afterwards said it was pretty fun. The reporter came out to our house and had an idea of my husband riding his bike while the reporter taped on his longboard so he could stay with my husband on the bike (hopefully that makes sense). I was trying to discretely take pictures up in my office. Only one really turned out but it ended up being kind of fun.

I couldn’t help but share this photo. These two were so close and you could definitely tell from this shot.

It’s always fun when I can share these photos. Since I don’t always have a second shooter I don’t get these shots very often. Here are some from the last couple weddings.

A couple shots of Emily in action.

And this one is one of my favorites. The guys had requested that we grabbed a couple pictures of them with their beers beverages in their hands. Emily was happy to help.

And a couple of me! I also think it’s funny that I’m shooting with the 70-200 in almost all of these shots.

Reason #435 – My brides are DROP DEAD GORGEOUS.

Reason #298 – They are all truly in love

Reason #877 – Because they have mad dance skillz…

I love her curiosity with dad’s chin. I have about 50 shots of this and they’re all just as adorable.

PS. Sorry for my absence, been shooting and summering it up.
