So I have this hidden talent of teaching dogs tricks. I have no idea where it spawned from but it’s really funny. All of the dogs I have owned have been able to do lots of crazy tricks. Some of them by total accident.

Anyway, I’ve always wished my dog could retrieve items for me (stuff like pour me a glass of milk, make me a sandwich, or even just bring a drink from the fridge). Apparently I’m not THAT awesome of a trick teacher because I haven’t mastered those.

I did discover the best messenger service. My office is upstairs and my husband’s is downstairs. My office also has the printer in it so if he prints off a document I usually bring it down (because I don’t want him to see my awful mess of an office). This time I decided to see if I could get the dog to do it for me. I tucked the document into his collar and told him “go get dad”. Hubs called him and he ran to his office to deliver the document.
