Photo Albums, Photo Books and Accordions – Boise Photographer

In preparation for the Meridian Urban Market I decided to freshen up my product samples and ordered some new stuff. Most of the stuff is just normal prints and canvas, but I also ordered a few printed books as well. Here are some of the products I’ll be sharing at the market.

Accordion Minis

Photobook with a Photo Cover

… and my favorite – the Leather Top Photo Album

These have the hard, lay-flat pages.

I opted for the Art Watercolor paper. I think it’s a nice paper but for my next sample album I think I’ll stick with the standard paper.

Busy Bee or Fish? Boise Idaho Photographer

I know that sounds really weird. I said fish because it’s been raining like crazy around here so there’s not been any bees in sight.

.

Anyway, back to my blog. So I’ve been slacking again lately but that’s because I’ve been preparing for the Meridian Urban Market, where I will be hosting a Photobooth a couple Thursdays a month. I’ve been getting lots of stuff together for that. You know, backdrops, props, signage…. that sort of thing.

.

I’m super excited because I will have lots of product to show too. I’d been holding off to order stuff because I just didn’t quite know what I wanted to share. Now that I’ve had this little kick in the bum I did it. I’ll have photos of my booth once it’s happened.

Here’s a flyer for the event.

Hope to see you there!!!

Independent Woman – Boise Child Photographer

This little lady was a very independent woman during our shoot. She had her little magnifying glass and had things to do! I thought for sure we were going to have have some difficulty wiping that serious little look off of her face. Nope! We just had to be sneaky about it :)

Photography Crash Courses are Back! Boise Photographer

I’ve finally been able to nail down a couple dates for photography classes. You guys have been so patient with waiting for dates and I thank you for that! As you can imagine, a photographer’s summer is crazy. I’ve decided to hold one class per month, each a different day a week hoping to be able to accommodate everyone.

Each session will be 2 hours.

.

I’ve aimed it toward those who want to learn how to use their DSLR cameras, but it’s not restricted to that. In each class we can tweak the material depending on what everyone wants. Here’s a basic description of the course:

.

This course is for those who want to step out of the box and really learn how to use their expensive cameras. The first hour  will be basic photography terms, camera functions, and how to use your camera in manual.

.

The second hour will focus on composition and a little bit of technique. The class can take a different direction depending on the level of skill the participants are. Participants will receive a packet with all information learned in class.

.

These classes are for beginners and those who have never taken their camera out of manual. This is not a class for budding professionals who are wanting to learn how to run a business. I’m aiming toward those who have a fancy shmancy camera but have no idea how to use it.

.

Class location will most likely take place in Boise and still TBA.

.

I’m offering the class 3 different dates and the price is $50 each. Below are dates and links to sign up for the class. You will sign up directly through Paypal. Once your information is received I will send you a form to fill out to give me additional information about what you would like to get out of the class.

.

I also accept credit card via the phone if you prefer to sign up that way. (208) 695-7182

May 24th will be from 6pm-8pm

June 7th will be from 6pm-8pm

July 16th will be from 10am-12pm

Giggly Monday – Boise Child Photographer

Friday I spent the day with my niece. Can you believe that she’s almost a year old already?? Anyway, we were hanging out in the backyard and she thought that playing catch with the dog was the funniest thing ever. FYI for those of you who saw the video on my FB page – this one is different.
