Fighter of Sleep – Boise Newborn Photographer

In November I got a call about possibly photographing a 4 week old little guy. Since November isn’t usually the prime time for newborn photography I was super excited because it had been a month or two since I’d photographed a newborn.

Going into it I knew that with a 4 week old, you never know what to expect . Usually I try to photograph newborns within the first 2 weeks of life because they’re still trying to figure stuff out and are usually pretty sleepy. Once they turn about 4 weeks they become very aware of what is going on and it’s harder to get them to cooperate.

This little guy gave me a run for my money but we finally tired him out enough that he fell asleep. The great part is that we got lots of shots with him asleep and awake (which never happens).

….and then he became veeeerrrryyy sleepy.
