Winner!

I’m so happy that there is a random number generator like random.org. I would NEVER be able to pick a person based on my own skills.

I’m literally running out the door but not before I could post the winner really fast.

Congrats Danielle! Email me at tamara@tk-foto.com and we can figure out the details. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out on the contest!!

Contest Names – Make sure yours is here if you voted!

Okay so I went through and gathered all of the names of the people who were entered for the mini-session giveaway. MANY of you didn’t come back and tell me that you entered so I took it upon myself to go find your name under the picture if I know you probably for the contest. However, there’s a chance that I missed some people so I’m going to list everyone who is entered. If you know you voted and your name isn’t below (or if you voted multiple times and your name is missing), send me an email (tamara@tk-foto.com) and I’ll add your name to this list.

If by Monday, you don’t let me know if you’re missing you will not be entered in the contest.

Here is how the votes were counted. 1 vote if you “liked” the picture, 1 vote if you commented on the picture, and 1 vote if you shared the link on either Facebook or Twitter. I put the list in alphabetical order so it’s easier to track.

THANK YOU!

Our team, Moon Shadows of course, wanted to thank everyone for voting for us. We won!! Without you guys we could have never done it.

I’m in the process of tallying up all the votes to go into the drawing for the mini-session. It’ll take me a few to organize them but I’ll have a complete list up so you can confirm that your name is there. Since I know not everyone came and told me they voted I’m going to do my best to try to pull people I know voted for photos (if that made any sense). That’s why it’ll take longer. I’ll draw on Monday.

It Lights the Whole Sky – Boise Child Photographer

Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth, “you owe me.” Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky. – Hafiz of Shiraz

Today on Twitter today one of my friends posted this quote. I can’t express how much I love this quote. It really hit a spot today.

Mini-Session Giveaway – Boise Photographer

Two posts in one day, I’m on a roll.

Wanna win a free mini-session? I need you to help me out! I’m playing in a softball league this summer and there is a local embroidery company who is hosting a contest. The winner will receive free uniforms and a full team sponsorship. We want to win!!

I figured I could make a deal with you (I guess this is also known as a bribe). If you go over and voted for us, you’ll be entered to win a free mini-session. The only way you will be entered for the mini-session is if you vote. There are 3 opportunities to win but first, here is how to vote:

Head over to Shadows Embroidery FB Page. You will have to “Like” them in order to vote.

Then, click on this link to go direct to the photo (or you can scroll down until you find our photo, we are entry #1 and have the picture below as our entry).

A comment counts as a vote AND a “like” on the picture counts as a vote. So that means you have an opportunity to vote for us twice.

———

So….. how do you benefit from this? Well, for every time you vote for us, you’ll get an entry to win a free mini-session. You have a chance to get 3 entries into the giveaway.

1. “Like” the Shadows Embroidery photo that we’ve submitted.

2. Comment on the Shadows Embroidery photo we submitted.

3. Share this blog post on your FB page so others will vote.

Fine Print: In order for me to know that you voted, you will need to either come to this post and comment to let me know how you voted. OR you can comment on the FB comment area where this post is linked on Tamara Kenyon Photography’s Facebook Page and let me know there. Otherwise I will never know that you did it unless you come and tell me. If your friend shares it and you comment there I won’t know. So make sure you come back to this blog or the photo facebook page to let me know.

How can you use the mini-session?

The mini-session is a 30 minute photo session that includes 10 images on a disk. It’s worth $100. You can use this toward a full session, you can gift it to someone else, or you can just take the session as it is and run. It must be used in the month of March.

We would really appreciate the vote!!!!!!! Thanks!

Good Uncle – Boise Photographer

About a month ago my sister asked me if I could watch my niece for a weekend while her and her fiance went out of town. Since I stopped watching her mid-January I was excited to hang out with her for the whole weekend.

So this weekend we hung out for 3 days. My husband was supposed to leave for India Saturday morning but to my excitement the trip was postponed one day due to flight delays. Besides seeing him for another day, he could also help me watch my nice so I could do stuff like shower.

Saturday night we decided to just hang out around the house. All Kallie wanted to do was crawl all over us. Playing on the floor with toys was not acceptable so we finally gave in and let her use us as her personal monkey bars, or my husband at least. She recently started crawling but seems she would rather pull herself up,  skip crawling, and hit walking. Luckily I think she still has a little ways to go for walking but it’s definitely looking like sooner than later.

And because this one is hilarious I had to show it.

Central Park – Boise Photographer

I didn’t blog yesterday but that is because I did the impossible. I cleaned my office. It might not seem like a big deal to you but if you know me, you know that I’ve been struggling trying to get it clean since I got married (which was the last time it looked this good). It took me 3.5 hours and looks awesome.

Anyway, I decided to share another vacation picture. I think it’s fun to show one every couple weeks and my New York City pictures are some of my recent favorites. I think it is because I had dreamed of going as a kid and I was finally able to see all the famous landmarks I’d always seen on tv.

Central Park was one that I had to visit. Some of my favorite shots came from there. Here’s one of a bridge in Central Park. At night this could be really creepy, but in the day it’s really awesome.

Happy Friday!
