Like I’ve said before, January is usually the month of boudoir sessions. I love that Boise has so many beautiful women. Not only that but beautiful MOMS who are proud of their bodies. Here’s a peek of one of Boise’s hot moms.

As if I didn’t have enough things to keep me busy, I decided to learn to knit. So far I love it. It’s great to keep me busy while watching tv or when I’m wanting to waste some time. My first big project is a scarf – which I’ll hopefully be finished with in the next week or two.
For now I’ll show you my first officially finished item.

If you can’t tell it’s a flower
Hoping to incorporate these into some of my projects. Anyone have any cute knitting patterns?
After I snapped this shot I looked down at the camera because I knew I was going to love it.

These guys were total troopers, although it was in the 30′s they were determined to get great shots outside. Here’s one of my favorites.

I’m thrilled to see how fast these sessions filled up! There are only 3 slots left. If those fill up I could possibly add 1 more spot on that Friday.
Here are the available spots left:
Saturday the 22nd
11:00am, 1:00pm
Sunday the 23rd
10:00am

I’ve updated my website. If you’ve visited it lately you probably already noticed that.
Some changes:
- Updated gallery photos
- New package collections
In November my husband and I were at my mother-in-law’s house looking through old photos. It was so much fun but got me thinking about how photography has evolved. With the digital age we are printing less and less. It made me start thinking about my own wedding photos (you know the ones that I haven’t even put in an album). Unless I do that, my children and grandchildren will never even know what my wedding was like.
This year I decided to go with a little bit different pricing structure. The great thing is that prices didn’t really go up but just rearranged. I want you to leave your session with some printed material. In 50 years are your kids going to be able to sit around and go through all the old photos?
If you didn’t print them out – nope.
As a photographer I feel like it is my duty to make sure those photos live on. You’ll still leave with your disk, but you’ll also leave with tangible products that will last for years to come.
And because a post is not legit without a photo…

Another late-summer post. This first shot is probably my favorite of all.
Mom and I laughed a lot. She definitely has her hands full!

It’s that time of year again and I’m planning early enough!

This was one of my favorite sessions this summer because I was able to add a little vintage touch to it. Though my style isn’t super vintage, I adore vintage.
Rachel and I have been friends since I was in high school. Funny story, we participated in a month long internship with a local news station where we both appeared on tv doing a story. Pretty embarrassing actually.
This day we had perfect weather. It rained up until about 3 minutes before we started shooting. After that we had perfect overcast.
Almost everything that Rachel brought had some sort of family history or story. I love that

Happy New Year! Now let’s reminisce.

I went through this slideshow pretty quick so that I could get it done in time so no hard feelings if I accidentally missed you.
