While walking through an alley during Kayla’s senior pictures I came across a little doorway with a super bright yellow light. I thought it might be cool to try out something different. Sometimes you find the coolest things in odd places. I’m so happy with the way that this turned out. The only editing I did was a little face softening and then some sharpening for the web. The color is all exactly the same. What do you think?

This might not be a picture that she uses for her yearbook photo, but it’s a fun one for the memory books.
So I’ve had this song stuck in my head for the last few days. I finally decided to look up the music video. It was not anything I expected but was seriously hilarious.
So it’s been crazy around here. I have so many photos to blog but haven’t had a chance to do it. Here is a little peek of what is coming up…

Oh wait, how did this one get in here? Embarrassing.

Thursday was a beautiful day for photos. My client, who is also my uncle asked if he could bring his camera and have me get a few snaps of him taking snaps during their session. He’s a also a photographer and wanted a couple bio pictures for his website. While grabbing a couple photos of his son (my cousin) he grabbed a couple photos of me.
I promised Jack that he could take a few photos with my camera since he was being so patient with us. He was very anxious to go to the zoo and just hung out while we did our thing. Here are a couple shots his dad grabbed while I was shooting and when I let him take a few pictures.

And after looking through the files, he didn’t do too bad. Here are the shots he took of his dad and I with my camera.

While we’re at it, here’s a peek of these guys in action.

I couldn’t help but giggle when I saw this.

This little guy was busy keeping up what was going on around him to fall asleep.

This photo doesn’t need many words. Pure emotion.

So one of my favorite parts of Halloween are the adorable costumes. Seriously, how do they think of these things? I guess you can’t really go wrong if you stick with a furry little animal.
Now that I have a niece it’s even more fun. She was a lamb this year.

I told him to bust out with his tough guy face and he didn’t even hesitate. Stone cold.
