Clams – Boise Photographer

While in Boston my husband and I were wandering around Boston’s North End. It’s cute little historical area. While hanging out at the Bell in Hand, which is apparently the oldest running tavern in the US, I noticed a clam bar across the street. Apparently, this clam bar is “America’s Oldest Restaurant”.

I’ve never had oysters before and decided that if I was going to do it, I might as well do it in a cool place like that.

Dressing my oysters with some hot sauce – secretly hoping I could drown it to mask the flavor.

Then I made my husband try them too. So he had two of them.

Verdict: Didn’t really like them. It was fun to try them but I didn’t really like the texture. You also get little pieces of shell that doesn’t taste very good.
