I got the call around 8:30am while in the middle of eating my breakfast.

“Looks like they are going to induce her.”

Fortunately my bags were all packed and I was ready to go. I jumped in the shower, got ready, and headed out the door.

2:45pm – still dilated t0 4 cm. We thought it was going to be a long night.

3:30pm. Nurse says, “Well, you’re between an 8 and a 9.”

Whaaaaaa?

On May 26th, just a little after 4:00pm Kallie Lynn decided to make her appearance into the world. 8lbs 4oz, 20″ long.

Zumba – Boise Photographer

So my Zumba dvd’s showed up yesterday**. I was able to try it out today. I loved it. I did realize that I have no dancing skills and my dance coordination has gone downhill since high school. Either that or I never had it to begin with. If the moves are really hard I just do jumping jacks for a while to keep my heart rate up.

Anyway, it’s more of a latin dance type of aerobic exercise. I did it for at least an hour, maybe even longer.

If you’re looking for a change in your workout, I would highly recommend it. If you do it in the privacy of your own home you can save yourself from any embarrassment (which is exactly what I do). I will never do this in front of my husband until the day I die. That’s how bad I am. Maybe, MAYBE I’d do it with some girlfriends. Only if I knew they’d be as bad as me (you know who you are).

Here’s a video that I found on You Tube that tells a little story about it. At the end they do a little routine. I’m not even close to being as good as they are. Not sure if I ever will be but it’s fun to try.

**Side note: I own a gazillion exercise dvds and have a hard time doing them because I get bored.

Twins! – Boise Newborn Photographer

I’m a little behind on blogging this session and I’m not quite sure why. I’ve showed lots of little sneak peeks of this session but haven’t wrapped it up yet.

You might remember this adorable couple from their maternity session.

These sweet little boys finally made their appearance and couldn’t have been sweeter. They literally slept through the whole session, making my job extremely easy.

Someone wanted to come and visit…

Caught Up – Boise Photographer

I’m finally getting caught up after my visit to California.

This round, I didn’t take nearly as many photos as I usually do. I didn’t even take my camera to Disneyland. The great thing about doing that is I was actually able to enjoy the scenery because I didn’t have my camera stuck to my face. Though I am a little bummed I didn’t take more photos, I’m glad that I was able to enjoy my vacation in a different light.

I was sorting through some of the photos that I took and came across this one. I think it is probably my favorite from the whole trip.

We were walking through this shopping center in Irvine, CA and this was in the middle of the whole thing. I love how the trees are framing it.

Buddy Likes to Run – Boise Photographer

Let’s face it, the weather has been awful. The only nice days we had I was in California where the weather wasn’t good.

Friday we had a decent day for running so I decided to take Buddy out with me. Before I had even mentioned ANYTHING about running he knew something was up and started howling at me. It was so funny I decided to document it. In the recording I started asking me if he wanted to go. The noises he makes at the end of the video are the noises he was making before I started recording.
