Tonight we had our friends over for dinner. It had been a long time since we have had them over for dinner so it was nice to see them. I’ll have more photos from the night, but here are two fun ones to share for now.
We don’t have kids (yet) which means we don’t have toys to play with…..
Until we discovered bowls and spoons!

Always a party in our house…
I told him to grab her belly like he’d grab a basketball. And so he did.

Whew. Since starting this 365 project I haven’t missed a day. Except I almost missed today. I’ve got a crazy schedule going on but am determined to go all the way.

While we’re still talking about my birthday, I wanted to show one more gift that I received. My friend Nicole came over with quite the treat.

She put together an assortment of herbs and greens for me. Not only did she put them together, she grew them for two weeks before giving them to me. SOOOO awesome.
She sent me a text a couple weeks ago asking me what types of herbs I cook the most with. This was her plan the whole time. It worked out great because I intend on starting a small garden this spring. This starts me off and I don’t have to do these.
Yesterday I came home to this:

Not sure what it is? It’s an Incredible Arrangement and they’re absolutely delicious. My husband’s dad and step-mom live in Orange County and had it sent for my birthday. It was such a surprise and treat. I’d have to say that the chocolate covered apples were my favorite
