Monday my husband cooked dinner. It’s always nice when he does it because it allowed me to work on some stuff. He is the breakfast/baker of the family and I’m the dinner cooker.
Tuesday= worst. commute. ever. I have to take the freeway to Nampa twice a week for a class and I swear it is going to give me premature wrinkles. Okay maybe I’m being a little dramatic but it sucks.
Not only is there construction on the freeway but in two additional places along the commute.
Wednesday I decided to make Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps for dinner. I even made my dressing from scratch. It was really yummy. I didn’t realize how much oil was in it. The recipe called for Vegetable Oil but I am on strike with Vegetable Oil so I used Olive Oil. Olive Oil has a much better taste anyway.
Thursday we got news that my little sister’s baby is a girl. She’s due in June. Originally I had “felt” that she was going to have a boy, but as time went on I started feeling girl. I was hoping for a boy because we need a little testosterone in our family. Too many girls
BUT another girl wouldn’t hurt anything.
Friday I finally figured out my new balance between work, school, and extra curricular activities again. The result was a much better week. It’s funny how taking one semester off really throws you off. It has also made me a better student.
