Sneak Peek: McDowell Family Portraits – Boise Idaho Family Photographer

Boise has been experiencing crazy weather lately. For some reason, we’ve had to rain check this family 2 (or even 3 maybe) other times.

Finally, we were able to dodge the rain long enough to shoot. It turned out to be a perfect day. There were alot of good ones so it was hard to keep the post small. Here are some of my favorites.

Ashlyn is Home – Boise Newborn Photographer

As most of you may have been reading from previous posts, I’ve been photographing the journey of my good friend and her little girl. You can find the first two posts HERE and HERE.

I’m glad to announce that she’s finally home! Yay. She’s around 5lbs 7oz and is healthy as can be. I went over there and grabbed a few shots of her at home. Here are my favorites:

Congrats Heather & Vince!

You guys won’t be hearing from me for a couple of days. Why, might you ask? Well I’m going to be celebrating the wedding of Heather and Vince (soon to be) Carlson. Yay.

Friday will be a day of pampering (oh yes my first mani/pedi ever with the other bridesmaids), preparing and eating. Saturday will be PURE celebration.

Not only am I excited to celebrate their wedding, but I’m also excited NOT to be working a wedding. 90% of the weddings I attend are to photograph, not this time.

Anyway, I decided to dedicate a post to congradulate Heather and Vince.

And a fun one of Heather and I at her bachlorette party. It is now a tradition that the red boa that I bought for her will get passed down to our friend Amanda (whose wedding is Sept 9th, down to me whose wedding is September 12th).

Today was a great day for shooting outdoors!

Here is a sneak peek of one my favorite famillies. Nicole is actually my Maid of Honor for my wedding in September. We’ve been friends since forever so it’s always fun to see her little girl grow and photograph the family. This post will be a little longer than normal, but I couldn’t help myself.
