Just when we thought that the weather would fail us, it turned out to be an awesome overcast day. Here are a few photos I grabbed from Britney & Tim’s engagement session.
Britney works in the medical field so it’s hard for her to have any jewelry that could potentially puncture a glove. I loved her ring when I first saw it. She then explained how perfect the ring was because there were not any hard edges on it. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Britney & Tim really enjoy black and white photos, so I tried to keep most of them black and white
We snuck in really fast to take a few quick shots at this small little pizza place. Just when we were getting ready to escape the lady brought us menus. As yummy as pizza sounded, we didn’t have time to stay.
This next one is one of my favorites. I like the angle and the light and the colors.
It seems like I am always spending my last few hours of the day with you. I’d just like to say “I ‘preciate you”.
Wow. Sometimes I feel like the late hours of the night make me a little crazy. Also, guess what movie that line is from.
Anyway, I just wanted to share a few more photos from Abbey & Troy’s engagement shoot. I didn’t share much during the first sneak peek.
This photo was taken inside the Modern Hotel’s lobby. They have awesome vintage furniture and were kind enough to let us sneak a few shots inside (ps they’re also on Twitter @modernhotel). I’d love to shoot throughout the hotel if I could get away with it.
Abbey & Troy both play on a summer softball team (hence the matching outfits )
Also, I’m starting to really become attracted to these flair photos. I probably do one at each shoot. They’re so unique and different to each couple and can totally change by day.
Might I add that Abbey has an amazing smile. There was not one bad photo of her!
Be ready for this most random post. It is approaching midnight and I should get to bed. Here we go…
I must say, May has hit the ground running. I’ve had shoot after shoot (which I am not complaining about), Heather’s wedding (in which I am a bridesmaid next weekend), and my own wedding coming up in September.
In the meantime….
Right now I’m currently seeking a good company for my printing needs. I want the hard matted photo albums and gallery wraps. Any suggestions?
Also, we can’t end without a photo.
Okay so I should be in bed, but I promised I’d put a few from today’s shoot up before bed. It will be morning before most of you will even get a chance to see them, but at least I will sleep better.
I love photographing tattoos and shoes. Perfect combo for this shot… and yes that is a couch on asphalt (will explain later).
Abbey has such a great smile that I couldn’t help but post this one. This is probably one of my favorites from the shoot. So natural and the light is great.
This one is for Lindsay, my most recent blog stalker I’m currently uploading the rest of the shoot in my gallery, but here’s some more of my favorites from the shoot.
Lindsay reading Mike a blurb from “Dealing with Dragons”.
Might I add that Mike has EXCELLENT taste in decor. I loved the way that his house was decorated. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that Lindsay said he painted the painting in the background himself.
Can’t forget those classic shots. The ones our mothers all love
These two were troopers. We went until we had no more light!
Yesterday I headed out to my hometown to shoot a really fun family. They are extremely photogenic and were willing to do everything. There are LOTS and LOTS of good shots so it was hard for me to just pick a few.
Here are a few of my favorites:
Ewww. Mom and dad are kissing… again
These next few are my absolute favorite!
Hot off the press.
Okay I couldn’t resist but put a quick sneak peek from Lindsay and Mike’s shoot. I’ll have more up this weekend, so hopefully this will hold you over!
Isn’t Boise gorgeous? This is why I love it here. That is downtown Boise in the background. That’s why they call us the City of Trees.
As you remember, I had posted some maternity photos a couple posts ago. You can find it HERE if you can’t remember.
Well, May 20th at 12:25 am Ashlyn Angela Lee was born. Yay. Mama and baby are doing great, though Ashlyn has to stay in the NICU to make sure everything stays well. Since she is only 34 weeks, it is necessary that she stays.
Everyone has been excited to see her, so here she is!
I love how the sign says “She looks just like her daddy”. SOOO true.
I love the angle of this next one. One of my favorites.
Holding daddy’s hand. So sweet.
It has been alot of fun photographing this process. After mommy, baby and daddy have settled in, I will be doing an in-home session to wrap it all up.
Here are some of my favorite shots from my most recent engagement shoot. We headed out to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. It’s a beautiful place to do photos because there are so many different settings. In the summertime they have plays that have the Boise Foothills in the background. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.
This is my way to loosen up the couple, jumping shots. I do this for EVERY shoot and I think it really helps loosen everyone up.
Thanks guys! It was fun getting to know you. I can’t wait for the wedding.
Okay so I decided to save my favorite photos for the next round. Here are some quick ones that I liked. I figured it would be fun to see some the same day.
Stay tuned for more!
