Playing with Raw – Boise, Idaho Photographer

With a wedding nearing in 9 months, I’ve been trying to spread out the time before I need to purchase a new camera. So, I’ve been doing some research as to how to improve the quality of my indoor photography using my current camera.

Today Matt and his dad were building a TV stand in the garage. What a better opportunity but to test some of my newly learned skills on him while inside the garage? Here are some fun shots of him working, while I was shooting in RAW for the first time.

Bringing Back Fall – Boise, Idaho Photographer

I didn’t get a chance to post these photos when they were first done. These two are friends of mine who are getting married 3 days before me. Boy oh boy will it be a busy month!

These guys were so easy and fun to shoot. They made me realize why I love photography so much.

It was also fun because there was alot of blur and motion. I think that looks great in fun photos.

More Snow! – Boise, Idaho Photographer

Today was the most snow we’ve received yet. How better to celebrate but by getting Christmas photos done?

It was a ton of fun because it was flurrying all day. It gives a soft background that always looks great. Here is a sneak peak of today’s shoot.

The First Snow!

It snowed all last night. It was quite exciting for me because I had a photo shoot today and snow makes for beautiful pictures.

This is a fun little family. We went down to a fire station in Meridian where we had fun on an old fire truck and a little time in the snow.

Fun in the Foothills! – Boise, Idaho Photographer

This weekend I met up with some friends of mine to do a fun shoot for their Christmas cards. Since it still hasn’t snowed in Boise, it gives us a chance to get some great shots outdoors. It ended up being a perfect day!

The first frost I’ve seen this season.
